How long must Singapore passport be valid

I am visiting Hong Kong for about 5 days. How long must the Singapore passport be valid for - is there a minimum requirement for the passport before it expires? Is May 2013 all right?

Hi, don't worry, your passport is ok for this trip. It will be better if you can show the officers your hotel bookings and return ticket if you have any.
