applying for a chinese tourist visa in third country

Can Korean citizen apply for a chinese tourist single visa in Iran?

Hello. I just finished MA course in UK University then I decided to go to Korea by land. My route is from UK to eastern Europe and Turkey to Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrkizstan and china, Korea.

1. I'm not sure in which country I'd better to apply for a chinese visa.
2. If I can apply for it in UK
3. any travel agency in china that can offer the invitation letter? (fees?)

Hi Yunil, you may not able to apply in UK if you have no valid residence permit in UK. It is not about the invitation letter. Visa application in a third country is difficult because mostly the embassy will not accept application from temporary visitors.

but I can see that there are some cases people get a chinese visa in third countries. right??

That is right, it is possible if the applicant is visa/permit exempted to work or reside in the third country. Otherwise, they have a very small change to get visa. Anyway, since you have already plan your trip by road through these countries, you can have a try to contact the embassies or travel agencies directly for more details. Sorry for inconvenience.
