Japan Tourist Visa

I'm Indonesian and working in China ( Guangdong Province ). I plan to go to Japan for vacation, can I apply the tourist visa in China? or I need to do it in Indonesia?

If you have Chinese residence permit, you may just apply for the visa at the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou, which is located at 1/F Garden Hotel (Tower), No.368 Huanshi Dong Road.
