About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Another query regards the tourist visas and their extension.

If you have a residence permit and you change this to a tourist visa, then you have a month before you extend it again. To be able to extend it twice means then 3 months after one's residency expires, you have 3 months? I am just trying to get a handle of how long we can expect to stay here after our residency expires on the 25th June 2012. Thankyou very much for your help so far. It is most appreciated

Hi Jan, you should be noticed that the tourist visa L you will be given is a 30 Day, Zero Entry after you finish your work in China. There are no extensions allowed on this L. If you want to stay longer period of time in China, you may need to leave first and get a new visa out of mainland.
