About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

visa for transit passengers

I plan to travel to India and on my way I will be transiting in Kunming and Nanjing for about 7 hours . I've never travelled to China before ,so I have no idea .Would be grateful if you can answer my question .Thank you.

If you will transit in two cities in China, you'd better apply for a transit visa in advance with your flight ticket. The other option for you is to apply for a Stay Permit when you arrive at the Kunming airport.
