About:China Visa

Stopover in Beijing airport

Hello! I will have stopover in Beijing airport for 23hours, do I need to get a visa for it? if I go out to check in a hotel?

Yes, you need to apply for a transit visa in advance if you want to go out of the airport.

I'm sure I read somewhere that you can get special permission to leave without a visa if you want to go to a hotel. You have to get permission from the Frontier office.
