About:Chinese Embassy in Netherlands

passport not be valid 6 months

I (dutch) have residence permit for China and like to go travel to the netherlands and than back to China. My passport is expiry till 6 mei 2013, Do I need a new passport before I travel back to China, because it is not longer valid for more than 6 months ?

It is ok for entry again if your residence permit is valid, but make sure your passport should be valid for at least one month when you finally leave China.
