Question

We will be travelling to Hong Kong, Shenzen and Macau next month.  Hope you can answer my enquiries.1.  My son is 18 years old, studying and living in Singapore at the moment.  Can he apply the china visa using only his passport without air ticket and hotel reservation?  2.  Is it convenient to travel to Shenzen direct from Hong Kong airport?  What is the option and cost?  3.  What is best way to travel from Macau to Hong Kong airport on the 25 Dec?  Do we need to buy our transportation tickets in advance since it is a Christmas day?  Our flight is 8.05pm.   Thanks in advance.

1. is your sone Malaysian passport holder? if so, he is visa free to enter Macau for 30 dyas and to Hk for 90 days. However, all of you have to get the air ticket and hotel booking in advance, since they will be required on your entry to Macau and Hk as well as for the visa applycation of Shenzhen.2.Yes, you may just take east rail from Hung Hom of Hk to Luohu of Shenzhen directly, The ticket fare is HKD35 per person. 3. the most vonvenient way is, of course, by air. Yes, you'd better book the tickets in advance to aviod the Christmas crowd.
