getting china visa in ktm

Question

I am a US citizen currently in Kathmandu, Nepal on a tourist visa. I would like to acquire a tourist visa go to China for 30 days at the beginning of February. Can I get it from KTM? What information/payment will I need to provide?

It is possible, but you may need to apply through a travel agency. If you are going to enter from Tibet, the Tibet Entry Permit is required as well. So, you'd better contact a local travel agency for the latest information. As I know, round-trip ticket and hotel reservation are required.
