HiMy grandma has just passed away and my mother and dad wish to fly into China in the next 48 hours. Can we apply for a visa at the Guangzhou airport and is the visa application centre at the airport open 7 days and 24 hours?Your urgent response is greatly appreciated.Kind RegardsAnnie Yang 08.11.2012

It is possible but you have to show immigration officers the relevant documents. My suggestion is to apply for a visa with rush service. They will take your situation into consideration.
