About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Is a visa required for a 12hour stopover on route to destination with Australian Passport ?

Hi, I am travelling to india and will be stopping over for 12hours transit in Guangzhou and planning to go to Hongkong, Do I require a visa.

If you will visit HK during the transit, you need to apply for either a transit visa in Australia or a 24-hour stay permit when you arrive at the airport.
