Validity of our Passport required for application

Hello, my husband and I would like to visit China again this December (we were there last year for the holidays). But I just noticed that my passport will expire on March 2013. Is it still ok for application? If I will renew, I will not have enough time applying for visa because it takes a month or so for it to be processed (we are holders of philippine passport by the way).

No, passport should be valid for at least 6 months when submit your application. You have to renew your passport first.
