which bus station is appropriate to get from kunming to shilin or/and chengijang

Question

Which bus station is appropriate to get for the above journey or/and Chengijang (Fossils site) ? In Lonely Planet Guidebook it is stated that bus for the journey from KM-Shilin depart every half an hour until 12.00 o'clock. Are there any more in the evening ? Are there frequent buses to Chengijang ?

You can take the bus to both of the two places from the Easter Bus Station. The bus for Shilin operates from 07:00 to 19:00 and it is more frequent than you said. The bus will stop in the evenings. The bus for Chengjiang is also frequent, so do not worry about it.
