Planning expenses in Nanjing

what is the starting fare for taxis in this city? I find this to be a good indicator of what the cost of living is in an area.

Hi, it is CNY10 for the first three kms.
Well, I agree with you that the taxi fee is a good indicator for the basic living cost of a city.
