Can I travel to zhangjiajie from Guangzhou for one day tour

Yes, you can.
But trains between the two places run for about 13h or more.

Yes, a long time, right?
One of my friend traveled in the way, by 13-hour train at night. The next day, he visited Zhangjiajie.
Maybe you can try the air.
