Advice concerning visa pending

i hold Indian passport and i applied for visa from singapore but it is pending. the center has returned my passport and said my visa is pending. my ticket is booked for 14 november. Dont know the reason why it is pending. Can you please advice me? Does this mean i will get it or not? When am I likely to know my status? I am also told by a travel agent that Indian Passport holders have to pay S$200 extra apart from visa fee, Is it true?

Hi, if you were returned passport, that means you will not be granted a visa from Singapore. Officers have right to deny application without any explaination. I have never heard of that it is an issue of extra fee for application. You'd better contact other travel agent for that information.
