Application “pending”

Hi my Uni gave a small group of us (late) info on a Summer School. We’ve all booked flights and applied for visas by email - all 10 other of my fellow students received confirmation and instructions to go to the visa office but I haven’t.
Not sure why mine is still pending but I’m worried I’ll miss the flight as tomorrow is the last day.
Is it worth going into the visa office tomorrow without an appointment or confirmation by email? Help!

Maybe additional materials are required by the Embassy, you can check the "Application Progress Inquiry" section to see if you need to upload more documents.
