Pending DUI charges will be dismissed in 6 months

With county sluggishness and Covid delays, I have a pending DUI case and have been accepted to teach in a school, starting remotely from the US. I am about to get the FBI background check. My lawyer said that it's going to take 6 months for me to complete a pre-trial intervention program to get the charges dismissed. The state of TX has denied me unemployment for right now until the case is resolved.

Do I have a chance that the Chinese embassy may ask for clarification details and explanation or will they deny me a visa for now until I have resolved my case?

Best regards,

JP

It's hard to say. I advise you to submit the visa application as normal and see what will happen.
