document required for visa application

Question

Two of us are planning to join a group of friends in Thailand to tour China  for 7 days from 28 December 2012. We are leaving Perth on the 8 November touring Thailand and other places. Can we apply for visa from Perth before we leave and what document do we need?  Thank you.

Yes, you can apply in Perth before leaving. A single entry China visa is valid for 3 months from issue date. For tourism, your need to provide passport, application form with photo, and better with return ticket and hotel reservation.
