Cancelling residence permit on my own

I have residence permit for studying that I would like to conclude earlier (ie. after one term instead of two), come back to my country and apply for work visa and eventually get a residence permit for work in a different city. Will that reflect badly on my if I cancel my residence permit of my own volition or do they not care? Should I worry about being blacklisted?

I don't think it will matter. You have a valid residence permit in the city where you are working and living now. That's the point.
