Transit passenger at Pudong Airport

hi There,

I am travelling on 19th OCt Delhi- Shanghai- Vancouver. i have 2 hours stay at Pudong terminal 1. My arrival & departure is from same terminal 1. i also have the same airlines which is China eastern Airlines. now do i have to collect my baggage & check in again at airport ?

i have been to several major cities in world & have never experienced that i have to collect my baggage & check in again for connecting flight ?

I have a lot of baggage with me & i am really worried about it. Not even can change the tickets as its all done now. Please provide ur advice ?
