Sleeping berth for 5 passengers

5 of us are travelling and want to book an overnight trip from Hangzhou to Xian but there is no 5 person berth. If we book a 6 person berth what are the chances of a stranger coming in and stay in our berth?
Thank you

I'm sure that all the sleepers in a 6-berth cabin will be occupied, which means there must be a stranger sharing the cabin with you. A solution is to buy all the 6 berths in that cabin.

But here is another problem. No one can guarantee the 6 tickets will be in one cabin, they may be allocated in two cabins. It is difficult to accurately calculate the possibility because the ticket allocation is influenced by various factors, such as the popularity of the routes, ticket purchase time, and the number of remaining tickets. With sufficient tickets left, the system will prioritize the allocation of 6 consecutive sleepers for 6 passengers in the same order.

Last, I want to remind you that the 6-berth cabin does not have a door.
