stopover at kunming

I'll arrive at Changshui international airport at 6pm and my next flight for Shanghai is following day 7am. What is the best way to reach the city center? Does train run frequently between airport and city center frequently that I do not miss my flight?

You can either take subway line 6 or the shuttle buses from the airport to the city center after arriving. But when back to catch your fight at 7am, you may need to take taxi. Because the subway runs from 09:00 to 19:10 on an interval of 25 minutes. The operating time for the airport shuttle is 05:00-22:00 from the downtown area to the airport and the journey is about 50 minutes. It may be rush for you to catch your flight if you take it.
