About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Staying In Shanghai for 18hrs with a Dog

My dog & I will be flying into Pudong International Airport at 630p.m. and will be there for an 18hr layover heading back to America. Do I do immigration? Does the shuttle allow dogs on it? Are there any pet friendly hotels anywhere near Pudong Airport? Also, is there anywhere to exchange Dollars to CNY? Are there any special papers I have to bring for my dogs to get into the country for those 18hours?
I am very incredibly nervous to be flying by myself with my dog so I want to make sure I know everything I can know before I fly.

If you do not need to go into down town area, immigration is not needed. The dog canbe take onto the bus as your luggage if the dog stays in a special case when it is on the plane.
There is no such a hotel near the airport. There are many places in the two terminals. If you want to take your doggy into China, you need to bring the CIQ Sheet your country offers when you go through the customs in the airport.
Hope it is clear for you.
