Question

We fly Mexico City-> LA-> Shanghai (18 hrs stop over)-> Siem Riep and then the same way back. Can we apply for the 144hrs free transit? Its two stop overs in Shangai of 18hrs each, can we apply both times?ThanksRodrigo

From February 2018, leaving the airport in Shanghai under the 24-hour transit program is limited to those with hotel reservations and staying overnight, or those whose flights depart from another airport. If you don't meet these criteria then your entry will very likely be refused.
