Can I get VoA at the airport?

Dear Sir
I have purchased a ticket to go to Hangzhou to meet my printer supplier before exporting a shipment of books back to Australia. I have now discovered that the Chinese Embassy in Melbourne is on holiday for one week. Can I get a visa entry at Hangzhou airport? If so, what documents do I need to depart Australia and to arrive in Hangzhou on Friday 5th October?

I am afraid that you have to apply for the visa at CVASC in Melbourne. If you do not get one, you cannot get on the plane.
