Is is possible to visit Mutianyu section during Winter ? Is the cable car operating ?

Hi! I'm planning to visit Beijing with my grandmother ( in January or February. I'd like to know if it's possible to visit Mutianyu during that period of the year and what's the better way to get there. Is also the cable car operating in winter ?
