I just got admission into a Chinese university and I live in Port Harcourt. I just read through the requirements but I don't really understand what's stated in number 5 and 8. Also, could some one explain to me what single, double and multiple entry means? The deadline set by the university for me to arrive China is December.. Could I be granted visa before that time? Some should please, help.

Hi, Requirements No. 5 is for business visa applicants only. No.8 means you need to provide copy of your passport information page tigether with the original passport. If you have been granted China visa before, copies of them are required. If you are going to study, JW201/JW202 and admission letter from the Chinese university are required. You can make an appointment asap to lodge in your application.

Thanks Baron for replying. I have downloaded the application form, I guess am to fill and submit it to the Embassy at Lagos becos itz closer to me since I live in Port Harcourt. Do I submit it together with attached documents or only the form? After submitting it, what happens next? I want to get familiar with the procedures so I don't end up making mistakes.

You just make an appointment first, then submit all documents together with the application form to the office. You need to do an interview as well when they accept your application. The processing takes about 10 working days, if your visa is ready, they will call you for collection.
