What visa can I get?if any

I am retired, hold a Certificate IV in TESOL. I would like to move to China to live with my Chinese girlfriend in Wuhan. I would like to get a part tine teaching position if possible once I have settled. Is there a Visa which will allow me to do this. Work is not a real concern as I will be a self funded with the sale of my house in Australia. It is not important that I find work it will be something to keep me occupied and my mind active. To be with my girl friend is the most important thing. She is waiting

Hi, I am not sure if you will get married in China or not. Presently, you can only able to apply for a tourist visa L. The duration is 30 days only, and you can extend L twice with 60 days more. After that, you have to leave and apply new visa again outside of mainland China. But if you have done marriage registration in China, you are eligible to get a family visit visa with longer duration, the maximum stay of 1 year, which also can be extended before it expires.
