About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Do you have a list of Authorized Travel Agencies for China Embassy?

Hi! It is stated in the new requirements that an invitation letter is needed from Authorized Travel Agency. Do you have a list of such? Otherwise, will a plane and hotel booking suffice? Will it still exempt me from the ITR and Bank Cert requirements? Thanks!

Authorized Travel Agency refers to Tourism administration bureau of Chinese province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government. If you have the letter, you won't need to submit income tax return form and bank certiifcate, statement.

If you don't have the invitation letter, hotel booking, two-way air ticket and financial status will be indispensable.

Your answer is incorrect. The Chinese Embassy in Manila seems to be making its own rules and requires more documents than makes sense. If you do not have a bank statement but have an invitation letter, return air tickets and a letter from a company plus other supporting documents the officers at the embassy then say you ALSO need a Letter from an Authorized Travel Agent Inviting the person to China!!?? Nobody seems to be able to figure that out. And nobody seems to know who an authorised travel agent is. And Travel agents I have contacted in China (11 of them) have no idea what I am talking about!!!
