About:Chinese Embassy in Russia

Transit via Guangzhou and Beijing.

I'm flying from Vancouver to my home Vladivostok (Russia) via Guangzhou and then Beijing. Could you please tell me if I need a transit visa for my travel. According to my ticket I'll be in China less than12 hours in total (including time for flight from Guangzhou to Beijing and staying in their airports). I have no intention of leaving Chinese airports.
Thank you in advance.

hi Vitaly, if you travel with internation flight transit directly in China, not two separate tickets, visa is not required. But you need to get a permission from the frontier inspection office when you stop at Guangzhou Airport.
