About:China Visa

If we do need a visa for 8hrs how much would this cost and how do we apply?

Hello,

I will be travelling from Sydney to UK via Guangzhou airport in Decemeber. My husband holds au passport, I hold UK.

We will have a 8hr stopover on the return flight, is it possible to leave the airport to check-in to the Pullman Baiyun Airport without a visa?

Thanks,

Hi Belle, no visa is required in such a situation, because the stopover is 8 hours only. If you want to have a rest in the said hotel, you can easily get a 24-hour stay permit when you arrive at the Baiyun airport, with your onward flight ticket.
