passport for a cruise visiting China

Hi, i am a Filipina. My husband is a seaman aboard a a cruise ship that is currently touring asia. I am planning to join him as a guest in one or two succeeding cruises. The 1st cruise will Start and end in China (tianjin). Upon boarding, the vessel will sail to another country that same day and so forth. End of 1st cruise will be the start of the 2nd cruise. Ship will set sail also the same day towards another country (Japan&Korea). after 5 days, it will sail again to China (xiamen), dock for a few hours and leave towards hongkong the same day. Stays in Hongkong for a few hours and proceeds to cruise to other countries. What kind of passport do i need for this and the requirements? i don't have a BIR-stamped income tax return. I only have a bank certificate of my bank account. Thanks.

You need to apply for a double entry China tourist visa. Your passport should be valid for more than 6 months and with copy of personal information page. If you can npt provide BIR-stamped income tax, you may need to provide invitation letter from China. Or, you can contact the embassy for more information if there is any alternative.
