what's the best time to visit Beijing?

I'd like to go on the occasion of the Chinese New Year which this year 2013 falls on the 10th February.
However I am worried that in February is too cold.
Anyone can tell me if in end of January and February it rains a lot in Beijing??Thanks

hi, that is right. The end of Jan. to the early Feb. is cold, so maybe it is not the ferfect time to go to Beijing. Actually, during that time, the average temperature is about -2-0 C, but it hardly rains. So apart from the low temperature, the rain will not bother you. You need take along the warm clothing indeed.
Anyway, Apr. - May. can be better to Beijing and Sep. - Oct. can also be a nice choice.
