About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Holding a Philippine Passport travelling from Manila to Dubai

Do I need a transit visa? I have 2 layovers in China at different airports and the total time spent in China will exceed 24 hours. One layover is 6 hours and the other 19 hours. Two different cities of course. Thank You.

I don't think you will go out of the airport during the 6-hour stop, but how about the 19 hours layover?

yes i will not go out in the airport for the 6 hrs, and about the 19 hrs to the other airport as i know the airlines will provide the accommodation to us the passenger. As what i experience last time i took the southern china airline, why they didnt give me the boarding pass? do need to have the visa in china?

If you yoru accommodation is located out side of the custom-control area of the airport, I'm afraid you have to have a Chian transit visa in hand.
