Invitation letter needed?

Hi, am a foreigner and my boyfriend is a Chinese citizen. He wants me to visit Shanghai. The plan is, we will travel together in coming to Shanghai. I already have tourist visa, do I still need to bring an invitation letter and affidavit of support duly authenticated by my country's consulate office in Shanghai?

No, the China tourist visa and your valid passport are enough for you to enter and stay in Shanghai with your Chinese BF.
