travel from hangzhou to wuzhen

Question

Hi, I have 2 & half day free and easy and keen to go to Wuzhen from Hangzhou by bus. Can I have the bus schedule to/from and is it need to be purchased in advance? As my 3rd day flight is depart at 2pm, what is the best timing to return from Wuzhen? I knew there is entrance fee there, is it unlimited visits in/out (in 2 days) or by particular day only? I saw there is boat for Dongzha and Xizha, what is that for? Can you recommend a good homestay at the town? Many thanks for your reply.

You can take bus from Hangzhou East bus Station to Wuzhen. The bus operates from 06:25 to 18:35 frequently. You have no need to purchase the bus ticket in advance. Since the bus journey is about 1.5 hours and you need to catch the flight at 2pm, you'd better leave for Hangzhou before 10am.  As I know, the ticket for those attractions within the town is only valid on the day. Since it is a water town, visitors can take the boat to look around. For homestay there, I suggest you go to Xizha Scenic Area to find one.
