You have been in Manila already, but you haven't prepared the China visa, right? Then you cna try to apply for the China visa from the China Embassy in Manila, but I'm afaid you can't get the visa there, since I hear that most oversea China embassies and consulates have stopped issuing China visa to temporary visitors recently, but you can still have a try. Good Luck!
If failed to get the visa in Manila, you can then change to apply for the visa in Hk.0
