China train- Beijing to Shanghai

We plan to travel on an overnight train, soft sleeper. We have 3 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 9. They are both under 1.5 m. Do children pay half price? Can 2 of them share one bed ? If yes, how much? We want to fit all 5 in one compartment on the train Thanks
