About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

What requirements needed to bring to china if plan to marry in china?

My chinese boyfriend want to marry me in china. My question is what requirements or papers that i need to bring to china for us to get married there in china. I'm filipina from philippines.As what we have heard i need to ask for certification in the embassy for my Certificate of No Merriage and for our daughter, her Birth Certificate need to certified also in the embassy. Is it right? I hope somebody will help me. Thanks in advance.

You have to bring your single status certificate and your birth certificate. And before you leave for China, you have to have them notarised according to the law of your local jurisdiction first, and then have them authenticated by the local Chinese embassy or Consulate.

As for your daughter, will you bring her to China with you?

Then, you have to submit your daughter's birth certificate when applying for her China visa.
