guilin to yangshuoxingping to yangshuo?

Question

Should I take the cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo ( I heard it could be too long  journeyand a little boring) or should I go to Yangshuo by bus or taxi and then go to Xingping or Yangdi and take a cruise or bamboo raft  back to Yangshuo? Wich one I would get better scenery? Would I enjoy more the second option? Any sugestion? Thanks.

Of course the better route is the second. To be frank, the beautiful scenery is from Yangdi to Xingping, so you can go to Yangdi first where you can take a bamboo raft to get to Xingping. After that, you can go back to Guilin or Yangshuo from Xingping.There is direct bus from Guilin to Yangdi Town, which will cost you about 40 minutes. After that you still need to a mini bus from the town to the wharf of Yangdi.

Guilin to Yangshuo or Xingping to yangshuo?
