Are there much shopping in Shanghai Pudong Int airport? Looking to buy some slippers as gifts

Yes, duty free shopping is available between Gates 15 and 20 for International Departures. You can find the shopping area both at T1 and T2. There you have many choices and you can check whether the slippers are among them.
