About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Why is it so difficult for international travelers to transit through Shanghai-Pudong?

I had to go through immigration and baggage claim, then take elevator with my baggage up to another floor to check-in for my next flight, then go through immigration and security check. Isn't there any system for international transfers at this international hub airport? I experienced a smooth international transfer at the Beijing airport, but Shanghai-Pudong seemed very clumsy.

I am sorry that there is no such kind of service in Shanghai Airport, it is a little bit clumsy.
