staying in hongkou

Hello! I'm going to be staying in HongKou this saturday and sunday night. Can anyone tell me am I very far from nice attractions (I would like to see the Bund and more). Also I will then be travelling to Hang Zhou by train on monday morning and I can't figure out which train station would be the best and closest to travel from - any ideas? Also is it best to plan to arrive in Hang Zhou at Hang Zhou railway station or would anther one be better?
