About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Any number for Chinese Visa enquiry?

I live in Indiana. What do I need to get a Chinese Visa? What is the total cost? Being I can't drive to Chicago, can I mail the information and have you mail it back to me? How long does the mailing take. Is there a 1-800 number to call you for questions?

Hi Bill, Chinese consulate in Chicago does not accept mail application, they only provides mail back service. If you can not go in person, you can entrust others or a travel agency to handle this on your behalf. Regular processing takes 4 working days and it can be done quicker if you use rush or express service. Visa fee is $140. Mail back service charge extra $5. Since I don't know what type of visa you need, you can refer to the requirements on this page: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/us/visa-application-requirements.htm
