going to northern xinjiang in the middle of august. What clothes should I take? Rain?

Hi, generally speaking, the average temperature is about 30 C. The highest temperature can reach about 38 C sometime. In some places, such as Turpan, the highest temperature even could reach about 42 C then. In spite of this, the temperature in daytime and at night is totally different. It means that it could be cold at night at times. Thus you'd better take along short-sleeved shirt, shorts, sunglasses for daytime together with long-sleeved shirt and thin coat for night. As for the rain, it may rain a little not heavy. Don't worry too much about the rain.
