Lost passport by visiting 13 year old Chinese student

We have a 13 year old Chinese student staying with us. She had her passport lost or possibly stolen at the airport in Denver. How can we help her get a new passport so she can return home? Hr name is Yu Jia and her passport number is G49016748. She plans to return on August 4th, and if possible, we would like to get her a replacement passport without having to travel to a Chinese counsel or to the embassy, as that would use up almost half of her time to visit with us.
