About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

Residence Permit revoked - can I go back?

I was working on a z-visa in Nanchang, Jiangxi province in 2010 and had my residency permit revoked after a small difficulty with a policeman. I had to leave Nanchang and my job within 30 days. I would like to go back and visit a friend in Nanchang. I understand that if I book into a hotel room there, the hotel will send my details to the Nanchang police within a day. Can I go back to Nanchang as a visitor and stay for a few days? I'm on a z-visa from another province.

If you have a valid Z visa now, you can enter China with it. It is not necessary to ask for a hotel booking from Nanchang.

Are you already in China on a work visa? if yes, I have to say that it totally depends on the seriousness of your former behavior in Nanchang. No one here can ensure if your details are still listed in record. So, as to my suggestion, you can stay with your friends in their place if possible. Hope this helps.
