About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I hold an ecuadorian passport. I am travelling from Australia to Europe through China.

My flight makes 2 stops, first in Taipei and then in Bangkok. Both journeys are completed in less than 24 hours (total). Do I need a visa?

If you do not leave the airport, no visa is needed.
