traveling to china, hong kongmacau from canada

Hi, I hold a Canadian Passport, HKSAR Passport, HK ID Card, and Home Return Permit and I am going to travel to Beijing from Vancouver for 1 week. Then I will fly to Hong Kong then to Macau.  I might also visit Zhuhai from Macau if time permits.  Then I will fly back to Vancouver from Hong Kong, connecting at the Beijing Airport.  I have the following questions:1. What type of travel document(s) do I need to apply if I am entering Mainland China using my Canadian Passport (or HKSAR Passport)?2. Can I use my Home Return Permit if I am going to Zhuhai from Macau, despite the fact that I already applied for the travel document for traveling Beijing?3. Do I need to apply a travel document going back to Vancouver from Hong Kong even though I am only connecting my flight at the Beijing airport?4. My friend will be traveling the same places with me however she only holds a Canadian Passport.  What type of travel document(s) does she need?Thank you so much in advance.

Hi, the answer to Question 1 to 3 is: since you have the HKSAR Passport, HK ID Card, and Home Return Permit , your trip (Vancouver-Beijing-HK-Macau-Zhuhai-HK-Beijing-Vancouver) needs no other travel document. You are very lucky!Your friend needs no visa to HK and Macao, but she needs a multi-entry visa to Mainland China.Good luck!

Thanks for your reply Melissa.1. If I don't need to apply for a visa entering China from Vancouver and Hong Kong, I assume I'll have to show my HKSAR passport at the Chinese Custom, correct?2. Also, I can use my Home Return Permit if I go to Zhuhai from Macau right?Thank you in advance.

Yes, you need to show your Home Return Permit when enter China, and to Zhuhai as well.

hi, did you end up having to show your hk passport when you flew Vancouver to Beijing or just showed your HOme Return Permit at Beijing airport? no Problems at beijing airport? I am in a similar situation but travelling australia to shanghai direct.
